A facility for multi-robot experimentation, brain-inspired computing, and physical AI.
The Robotarium is a shared experimental facility in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at UC Irvine. It exists to shorten the distance between a control or learning algorithm and a working demonstration on hardware, in one room, with the instrumentation already in place.
The full facility site is in preparation. In the meantime, the details below cover what is available and how to get in touch.

Industry partners
We work with industry partners on multi-robot autonomy, learning-based control, and brain-inspired computing hardware, through sponsored research, joint projects, and student-led work in the facility.
If you are interested in partnering, write to fabiopas@uci.edu with a short note about what you are working on.
Student projects
The facility supports course projects, MS capstone work, and Ph.D. research. Recent student work includes electrical and mechanical platform implementations for oscillator-based computing.
UCI students interested in working in the Robotarium should email fabiopas@uci.edu, including your year, program, and what you would like to build.
